Trilogy Home Care is a company founded on a passion for elevating the standard of care for seniors who wish to maintain an independent lifestyle at home. The Golden Rule is our guidepost in all we do, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." We strive for excellence both in the care of our clients and in the relationships we build with our caregivers.

About the Founder & Owner

Jen Nieting, R.N. created Trilogy Home Care to offer real excellence in service to seniors in our community. Giving our clients the option of staying at home, a place they know, love, and feel comfortable in can be an invaluable gift. We are here to make that option a reality for the people we serve.

Jen Nieting, RN

Jen’s 12 years at the Portland Veteran’s Hospital prior to founding Trilogy Home Care in 2007 gave her a profound understanding of the special and unique needs of seniors. With 23 years experience in the medical field, compassionate nature, and nurturing heart, Jen has set out to redefine the landscape of the in-home care industry, raising the bar for senior care in the Portland area.

Joanne Kertland -
Client Care Director

Joanne is a dedicated Client Care Director with nearly two decades of experience in the health care industry. Since beginning her career in 2006, she has built a strong foundation in administration, client coordination, and senior care. Known for her compassion, professionalism, and deep industry knowledge, Joanne consistently serves as both a resource and a champion for the clients and families she supports.

 

She has been a key member of Trilogy Home Care since 2015, where she oversees client care with a focus on personalized service, clear communication, and exceptional quality. Joanne's commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors and their families defines her work and exemplifies her leadership in the in-home care field.

Jess Vonada-
Office Manager

Jess is an Office Manager at Trilogy Home Care, a role they have held since 2024. Jess has an educational background studying psychology and human development, graduating from Cal Poly Humboldt in 2021. Their academic foundation, combined with their caregiving experience, supports their uniquely blended role, which brings together administrative responsibilities and hands-on caregiving support.
Known for their empathy and willingness to step in wherever needed, Jess is a valuable member of the Trilogy team

Caylynn Parker-

Scheduling and Operations

Caylynn is a highly skilled Scheduler in the senior care industry, known for her diligence, exceptional work ethic, and unmatched attention to detail. She handles the complex demands of caregiver scheduling with a calm, organized approach that makes a challenging job appear effortless.

Since joining the Trilogy Home Care in 2017, Caylynn has a played a key role in ensuring consistent, high-quality service for clients and families. Her work is deeply client-centric, blending coordination, communication, and empathy to create a schedule that support both caregivers and the individuals they serve. 

In addition to her scheduling expertise, Caylynn brings strengths in human resources, leadership, and team support. Family-oriented and dedicated excellence, she is a vital part of Trilogy's commitment to delivering reliable, compassionate in-home care.

Apryl Potter-
Accounting  Specialist
 

Apryl has over 20 years of executive experience in the financial industry,  Apryl maintains Trilogy's accounting including billing and payroll.  Apryl works closely with the team to make sure all our clients and all our employee's questions are answered in a timely manner.  Apryl helps in our compliance and HR department administering benefits and supporting the staff wherever she can.  Apryl has a professional and ethical approach to work, and she is knowledgeable of employment law practices.  Apryl loves to collaborate with the Trilogy Team and loves working with the community.
